A shiver ran down Anna’s spine, as though a beast hidden in the darkness was hunting its prey. She squeezed her eyes shut and trembled.

Soon, his hand touched her hair. Her black hair, as if it had absorbed all the darkness, slipped through his fingers like flowing sand.

“Open your eyes.”

He whispered softly, almost like a growl. She didn’t want to open them, but Anna lacked the courage to defy Rothbart’s command. Slowly, she parted her tightly shut eyes. Her lashes trembled as if carrying her unease.

“As I thought.”

What was it that Rothbart had wanted to confirm? Anna, knowing nothing, only trembled in the dark.

How long had it been?

Suddenly, something gripped her neck. It was Rothbart’s hand. She didn’t want to die like this. Convinced that he meant to strangle her, Anna belatedly gathered her wits and begged frantically for a shred of his mercy.

“I… I will do anything if you let me live. I will never enter this room again. I was only curious. I won’t tell anyone what I saw… mmph…”

But what stole her breath was not the brute strength of his hand, but lips that devoured her as if to consume her whole. His lips swallowed hers, and soon he licked across her teeth as though confirming them, repeatedly brushing the tip of his tongue against the particularly sharp lower left canine.

“Uhh, nngh, master, mm…”

Anna’s hands tried to push away his chest, hard as stone, but he ignored her and continued to kiss her.

The unexpected kiss turned her mind into chaos. She tried to gather her wits, but every time Rothbart’s tongue swept through her mouth, her fragile thoughts scattered like dust, leaving her only panting, swept away by the kiss.

Meanwhile, his hand lifted her skirt up to her waist. He then pulled down her undergarments and drawers, the roughness of his hands closer to tearing than removing. The seams ripped audibly.

Her exposed flesh glistened with wetness. Rothbart swallowed hard again and again, his eyes fixed hungrily between her thighs.

“So drenched…”

The voice that had once threatened her with death now turned sweet, as if it had all been a lie.

His lips curled unnaturally, revealing white teeth. In the black shroud, only his gleaming fangs could be seen. Like a beast baring its teeth in a grotesque smile, Anna gasped as she looked up at him. Saliva, she didn’t know whose, trailed from her parted lips.

Anna thought she should resist more strongly, but somehow she could not. Perhaps it was because, at the brink of death, she had barely glimpsed a light of hope.

In an instant, Rothbart’s attitude had flipped, and instinct told her that her death had been delayed. That realization was followed immediately by the return of the haze that clouded her senses. Though the candle had been extinguished, the sweet fragrance of the incense continued to saturate her.

Her body felt like molten lead. Hot, heavy… something was wrong.

“Haah…”

Only then did Anna realize that the incense Rothbart had lit upon entering the room contained an aphrodisiac. But it was already too late. Her body, soaked with the drug, had become both hypersensitive and powerless.

Unlike her slackened body, her mind had not yet dulled completely. She could foresee what was about to happen to her. He would inevitably defile her. It was like a prophecy she could not escape, yet she still clung to a futile plea.

“Master, pl-please forgive…”

“You welcome me. You missed me too, didn’t you? Isn’t that right?”

It was Rothbart who had been closer to the incense. Anna was certain he was drugged and mistaking her for the Marchioness. Otherwise, why would he, who never regarded her as more than a rat, suddenly act like this…

The hallucination born of the drug had spared her life for now, but it was not entirely a blessing. When he came back to his senses later… he might instead rage like fire, furious that the Marchioness, whom he revered like a sanctuary, had been defiled. If that happened, strangulation might be a kinder end…

She had to escape this situation somehow. But contrary to reason, Anna’s entrance opened and closed repeatedly, releasing translucent juices. Forced into heat, her body had already finished preparing to accept the male, and the towering male before her caught the scent keenly.

Parting the folds of her soaked and dripping pussy, something enormous drove inside. The pain, far too sharp to forget even with the drug, cut through her flesh, making Anna struggle and wail.

“Haaak! Ah, it hurts, ah, aah… m-master, I’m sorry, please stop…”

“Roth.”

Rothbart whispered as he rubbed his nose against Anna’s cheek. His wet voice clung stickily to the rim of her ear. Like something alive, the moisture crawled down her ear canal and into her brain.

“Call me Roth.”

Rothbart thrust his hips hard and pulled her waist toward him. She screamed like an animal caught on iron bars.

“Ahhk!”

“You have the right.”

As he said this, his eyes curved with a smile. In the red of his gaze existed Anna, whose face twisted in pain yet flushed with heat. She looked as though she were floundering, submerged in blood.

“You act like a virgin. You remind me of your first time.”

“Ah, ah!”

“Back then too, you chirped like a bird…”

“It hurts, ah, ngh, nngh… ah!”

Each time Roth’s cock pierced her body, Anna’s vessel shattered and was remade again. She couldn’t tell whether her body was adapting to him, or if he simply knew her body too well.

With his relentless movements rocking her, Anna forgot that she had a boyfriend, forgot that this was her first experience. She surrendered her entire body to the pleasure Rothbart gave, spreading her legs in submission and letting wet moans spill out.

“Ah, aaah, Roth, ah…!”

At the moment of climax, behind the massive form of Rothbart, the Marchioness’s portrait blurred, flickering in and out of sight.

In her dimming vision, Anna could capture nothing except the pair of red eyes that seemed to pierce straight through her.

CHAPTER 2. Swan, Anna

Anna had been an ordinary university student in South Korea.

Then, suddenly, she had fallen into another world. What greeted her was a village that looked like Europe before industrialization.

Had she fallen alone, she might have panicked, but whether fortunate or unfortunate, her boyfriend Jo Sehyun had accompanied her in this strange dimensional transfer.

Relying on each other, they were able to regain their senses relatively quickly. Though they couldn’t read the writing of this world, they could understand its speech, so Anna and Sehyun desperately tried to blend into the strange place.

Anna’s eye-catching jeans and T-shirt were exchanged with a farmer’s wife for an old dress, an apron, and a few copper coins. With those coins, they bought work clothes for Sehyun. Since his shirt and pants did not differ much from the clothing of this world, they decided to keep them just in case. Having at least one decent set of clothes seemed wise, should they need to look presentable while seeking work.

They wandered, searching for whatever work they could find. Sewing, chores, grooming horses… Fortunately, perhaps because there were others in this world from the same eastern continent as their appearance, people treated them distantly but not with outright rejection.

Thus, quite some time passed since the two had settled in the village. As the villagers gradually grew accustomed to the strangers from the eastern continent, they began to share stories about the tragic fate of the distant lord’s estate.

The house of Marquess Lohengrin, the ruler of the domain, had once aided the founding king in establishing the kingdom a thousand years ago. For generations, they had governed their land well, but at some point, under the crown’s check, the family began to decline. From the very birth of the current head, Rothbart Lohengrin, misfortunes had plagued the household without end.
