As her skirt rolled up to her waist, her long, slender legs were fully exposed. With his relentless thrusts, the legs that had been wrapped around his waist soon lost their strength and dropped weakly downward. Lucius grabbed one trembling thigh in his hand and spread her legs even wider apart. Then, with sharp slapping sounds, he began pounding into her more forcefully.

“Ahhh!”

Even knowing that Carl could knock and open the door at any moment, Brianna couldn’t bring herself to tell him to stop. Instead, she clutched at Lucius’s collar as though begging for more. Through the opened front of his shirt, she licked his sweat-drenched neck and chest and kissed him madly.

“Ah…”

Lucius suddenly furrowed his face. Letting out a strained groan as though he could barely endure it, he suddenly pulled back his hips.

“Ah!”

And in an instant, her body was flipped over.

Unlike just before, when she had been facing him with her back pressed to the desk, now the flat surface of the desk touched one cheek. She was bent over the desk.

“Lu, Luce…”

She was about to turn her head over her shoulder to stop him, but at that very moment, his length drove back inside her with a powerful thrust. With a short scream, Brianna grabbed the edge of the desk. The rough pounding movements that immediately followed left her unable even to resist, her face pressed against the wood.

“Ah! Ahh! Ahh!”

The thrusting member rubbed and struck places inside her that were different from before. Her walls, already swollen and sensitive from stimulation, instinctively tightened around him, and his ragged breath poured hotly against the back of her head.

“Brianna…”

Lucius caressed her chest, still modestly covered by clothes despite the wet and wanton state of her lower body. Forcing his hand inside the tightly laced bodice, there came a ripping sound as the fabric tore.

“Hhh…”

With a harsh grip that made her breasts ache, Brianna whimpered softly. Below, his member continued to drive in with a sound as though piercing flesh. Pulling out her overflowing breasts from her clothes, he kneaded them greedily, and when his fingers pinched and twisted her nipples, Brianna let out a breathless moan as though she might faint.

“S-Stop…”

Brianna shook her head, crying. Though this was far from their first time together, something felt strange. Neither of them was in their right mind now. Him, ravaging her mercilessly like some ancient conqueror in a place that was not even the bedroom. And her, receiving him in such a feral position, not rejecting him but crying out in cries of ecstasy.

With thrusts strong enough to shake the desk, Brianna lost her grip. Her body, losing its support, was pushed forward again and again, and she groped across the desk to grab something. Books and papers scattered onto the floor with the violent movements. Then, her fingertips caught on a sheet of paper. As she faintly recalled that it was the divorce papers she had thrown at him earlier, Lucius’s hand covered it. And in his grip, it was mercilessly crumpled.

“If you dare hand me this again…”

He bit at the tip of her ear, panting heavily. Pinning her struggling body beneath him, he whispered threateningly.

“Then I will lock you in a room for life. So you will never see sunlight again.”

“Ahhhk!”

“So promise me, Brianna. Promise you will never again speak of divorce.”

“Luce, I, I…”

She tried to answer, but his relentless thrusts from behind made it impossible to form her words. When he pulled back slightly for a moment, Brianna barely managed to cry out.

“I promise. I’ll never again say I want a divorce. I’ll stay by your side forever…”

Brianna turned her head and looked at him through tear-filled eyes.

Though it had long been time for him to release, he still had not let go. She no longer had the strength to endure such fierce lovemaking in this position. Feeling as though she might faint at any moment, Brianna pleaded desperately with him.

“So now, give yourself to me.”

The moment those words left her lips, his massive length thrust deep inside her in one motion. This time, heat poured into her, filling her completely.

The thin, cloudy seed overflowed from her womb and trickled down her legs. As Brianna’s knees buckled and her body collapsed, Lucius pressed his chest against her back. The familiar weight of a man bearing down on her, the mixed scent of seed and sweat. And as she felt the gradually subsiding breath from behind, Brianna blinked slowly. Just as she was about to close her eyes and fall into a deep sleep, Lucius lifted her into his arms.

“It is not yet time to sleep, Brianna.”

Before she knew it, his manhood was swelling again, prodding against her stomach. Brianna shook her head violently.

“Luce, I am exhausted. I cannot anymore…”

Biting her cheek, Lucius said firmly, “Even if you refuse, it won’t do. Tonight, I’ll have you to my heart’s content.”

He silenced Brianna’s protests with his lips. Then he carried her toward the room with the bed.

That afternoon, they shut themselves in the room and did not come out until the next day. The servants, knowing better, quietly left their dinner at the door.

Lucius fed Brianna the bread, fruits, and vegetables arranged on the tray with his own hands. Brianna, who had never in her life waited upon another, found it strange that he was so skilled in such tasks. Of course, she later realized he had done it with a sly purpose: to restore her strength and satisfy his own desire again.

From the study during the day to countless times even after they moved to the bed, he never seemed satisfied. They made love until late into the night. In the end, Brianna’s lower body swelled so badly that even the brush of a finger made her sting, and only then did he let her go. Instead, he held her tightly in his arms, lying side by side on the bed.

“…What are you thinking about right now?” Brianna asked him.

As the night deepened, only the black sky could be seen outside the window. For some time, Lucius had worn a complicated expression and said nothing. That silence unsettled her.

The human heart is so fragile that even after confirming their love, a mere moment of silence was enough to stir unease. Perhaps it was for that very reason that he clung to her body so obsessively. At the very least, while they joined, he could silence such complicated thoughts and surrender only to instinct.

“I was thinking of Florian.”

At his faint sigh and words, Brianna lowered her gaze. She gently caressed the hard, muscular chest before her and asked softly.

“Do you still feel guilty toward Florian?”

He confessed that he regretted harboring impure feelings for the woman his friend had loved for so long. Perhaps he would carry that guilt for the rest of his life.

“In truth, Florian already knew. That I’d liked you for a very long time.”

At his words, Brianna raised her head. She met the calm, steady gaze of his black eyes.

“What do you mean, he knew? That makes no sense…”

“It’s only my guess, but I believe Florian already knew everything when he sent that letter. Florian had never once forced anything upon me until then.”

Brianna recalled the contents of the letter Florian had written to him.

In it, Florian had demanded that Lucius break his engagement with Count Kirchner’s daughter and marry her instead. He had even gone so far as to write that it was not a request, but a command.

That was certainly not Florian’s way. He had been the kind of man who would rather suffer loss himself and laugh it off than burden another.

“I don’t know how he found out. But I’m certain of one thing: the reason he left me that letter. It was so that I wouldn’t carry guilt in my heart. If he gave me a reason why I had to marry you, then I could marry you without guilt.”
