I’m Trapped in a Bloody Reverse Harem Game - Chapter 152
As soon as the door opened, a strong gust of wind blew in. The large window leading to the terrace had been flung wide open.
Dion looked at the window and stepped into the room.
“Saintess.”
He called for the Saintess in a cautious voice, but there was no sign of her. The room that had been in disarray in his dream was now clean, as if it had never happened.
Even so, Dion couldn’t relax and looked around the room. The most important thing—the Saintess—was nowhere to be seen.
When even after searching the entire room he still couldn’t find her, Dion turned toward the terrace with an anxious expression.
‘Why is the window open?’
The wide-open window creaked unpleasantly in the wind. The sound from the unmaintained hinges made Dion approach the terrace as if drawn in.
‘What if what I thought was a dream really happened, and the Saintess was so shocked that…’
Ominous thoughts consumed Dion.

“Saintess, what are you doing out there!”
I looked up at the booming voice. Dion stood on the terrace, frowning as he looked at me. His face was pale, as if he were about to collapse from lack of breath.
Whatever he had imagined, his face had gone completely bloodless.
With my body leaning precariously over the terrace, I must’ve looked like I was about to fall. Dion let out a deep breath in that state and carefully observed me.
Holding the sheet I had deliberately dropped into the garden, I nodded toward Dion.
“Good morning, Sir Dion.”
Though I had cleaned the room he’d messed up, I had no way to deal with the soaked sheet.
While pondering what to do, I stepped out onto the terrace and spotted the fountain in the garden, then threw the sheet I was holding into it.
The sheet, soaked with semen and love fluids, landed perfectly in the fountain. The traces of the previous night vanished as it got soaked in the water.
Thanks to Dion keeping the servants away from the main building last night, it had been easy to sneak out of the room. Though my clothes got a bit wet retrieving the sheet, it was fortunate that all evidence had been removed.
When I greeted him with a smile, Dion looked at me blankly for a moment, then stammered as he said, “P-please wait right there. I’ll come down.”
“Huh? I was just about to head back in…”
“Wait!”
Before I could even finish speaking, Dion disappeared from the terrace.
Hmm, maybe he noticed that I left him under the bed? Dion had been too heavy for me to lift onto the bed.
Dragging him into the room had been the best I could do.
Well, even if he did notice, it didn’t matter without proof. Even if he suspects what happened last night, Dion isn’t the type to pry. He wouldn’t even be able to say it aloud—he’d just blush.
I stood there holding the wet sheet, waiting for Dion. It hadn’t even been a full minute when Dion came running over to me.
“Why are you out in the garden this early?”
“I was dealing with the sheet, but the wind carried it off, so I came to pick it up.”
“You could have had a servant do that! Why would you—!”
Panting for breath, Dion raised his voice in frustration. When I widened my eyes in mock surprise, he lowered his tone and finished his sentence.
“…That kind of task can be given to a servant later. From now on, you don’t need to do such things yourself.”
“Oh, okay. I will.”
I bowed my head and apologized. Dion looked like he still wanted to say something, but when I obediently replied, he only mouthed words silently.
“By the way, Sir Dion, what’s going on this morning? Did something urgent happen?”
“Ah, no.”
Dion snatched the sheet from my hands and denied it.
“I can take it myself…”
“It’s fine. I didn’t invite you as a guest just to make you do menial tasks.”
“Oh, right. About last night…”
“Yes?”
Before I could finish my sentence, Dion cut me off with a loud voice, staring at me.
His face was filled with tension. His throat bobbed visibly.
Ah, he’s reacting to the word ‘last night.’
It was such a tempting reaction to tease, but I held back, worried it might lower his affection.
I acted as if his response didn’t matter and continued, “I meant what you said in the carriage on the way here yesterday. You asked me to see if anything strange was going on.”
“Oh, that’s what you meant?”
“What else would I be talking about?”
“Nothing else.”
Dion answered firmly and resumed walking. Having momentarily gotten lost in thought and missed my earlier words, Dion now seemed back to himself.
I followed behind him and said, “I think the cause lies with the former head of your family, Sir Dion.”
“What do you mean…?”
“It’s not certain yet, so it’s too early to say…”
<Investigation Event Triggered! – Character [Dion] Mansion Search – (2/5)>
- Complete all five mansion searches with character [Dion].
- Reward: Dion’s affection greatly increases, trust greatly increases. Progress in Dion’s single route advances.
<It is recommended to use the ability ‘Eyes of the Wraith.’>
It was just after I passed through a narrow staircase following Dion. I squinted at the system window.
The system flashed briefly in crimson, as if to warn me of danger.
A danger alert?
Convinced there must be a reason the system was warning me, I activated the ability without hesitation.
<Using ability ‘Eyes of the Wraith.’>
- Can faintly see things invisible to ordinary people.
- Remaining time: 59 minutes 59 seconds.
“Dion!”
The moment the ability activated, I saw the scene and shouted urgently, pushing Dion away.
Something clinging to his back was threatening him.
Thrown off balance, Dion stumbled. The sheet he had been holding fell to the floor.

“Sir Dion is out of contact?”
“It’s already been a week.”
“Does he even know the Saintess’s welcome banquet is in two days?”
Adrian asked, unable to hide his irritation. Ever since Dion had taken the Saintess to his mansion, Dietrich had been pouring out complaints from inside Adrian’s office.
“I know, that’s why I’m worried. There’s no way we wouldn’t be able to reach him.”
“If you’re that concerned, why don’t you go visit Sir Dion’s mansion yourself? You’d better depart immediately.”
Even faced with the rare sight of a visibly worried Dietrich, Adrian replied coldly. There wasn’t the slightest trace of concern for Dion in his frosty face.
Dietrich, amused by Adrian’s half-hearted and dismissive reply, smiled and agreed. It was almost entertaining how Adrian reacted exactly as expected. Having been bothering Adrian in Dion’s absence, Dietrich wiped the grin from his face and rose from his seat.
Though he had enjoyed seeing Adrian’s displeased expression, his concern for Dion was greater.
Dion was softer than he looked. Even if he tried to act cold, spending time with the Saintess might have caused him to develop feelings.
‘If only the Saintess had stayed with Adrian instead, I wouldn’t be worrying like this.’
More than a few people had worn themselves out trying to get close to Adrian, only to give up on their own. Watching Adrian, who never let anyone get close, Dietrich spoke with a sigh in his voice.
“Yeah, if I leave now, I can make it back in time for the welcome banquet.”
Adrian, seeing Dietrich rise, greeted him with visible relief. “Sir Dion might be waiting for you. You’d best hurry.”
It was the first bright expression Adrian had shown since Dietrich arrived at the office.
Seeing the unchanging attitude Adrian had maintained since entering the imperial palace, Dietrich smiled unconsciously.
He too, after all, had once been one of those people who gave up.

<Dion’s affection has increased.>
<Dion’s affection has increased.>
The affection-up messages popped up one after another. Closing the system window, I opened my mouth.
“Dion, are you okay?” I asked as I tried to catch my breath.
Dion, who had been leaning slightly toward me, straightened up and replied, “Yes, Saintess. And you?”
“I’m okay too. Just a bit out of breath…”
“If you’re too weak to move, let me know.”
“It’s not that bad. I’m alright…”
Right now, I was too focused on protecting Dion. Ever since the day the system had issued its warning, threats that could only be seen through ‘Eyes of the Wraith’ had constantly targeted Dion.
It must’ve been right after the capture event had triggered.
I had discovered something threatening Dion. A fog-like figure clinging to his back was trying to harm him.
It was already difficult enough to block that, but the situation was made worse because the place we were in had changed.
Every location except the room with the terrace had transformed strangely. Without using the Eyes of the Wraith, it was too dangerous to take even a single step. What used to be a straight corridor had twisted into a maze.
Where we were now was no different from a labyrinth.
<Ability ‘Eyes of the Wraith’ has 5 minutes remaining.>
“More importantly, I think we need to head back to the room now. My eyes…”
Still catching my breath, I checked the remaining duration and spoke.
If we moved while I couldn’t see, Dion could be in danger.
“Wouldn’t it be better to go a little farther?”
“I’d like to… but I can’t see clearly right now.”
“Then your condition must be poor. I’ll call a physician once we return to the palace.”
“Yes, thank you.”
<Dion’s affection has increased.>
Ever since we got trapped in here, I’d used eye pain as an excuse whenever the ability’s time ran out. Perhaps because of that, Dion watched my eyes closely and muttered worriedly.
I rubbed my perfectly fine eyes hard, pretending they hurt.
The ability level had risen three stages, making Eyes of the Wraith now level 5. The duration had increased considerably, but it still wasn’t enough to keep moving all day.
Looking at Dion checking my eyes right in front of me, I summoned the system.
‘Check character affection.’
<Character Affection>
- Ardal (Route Cleared) – ♥♥♥♥♥
- Orias – ♥♥♥♥♡
- Dion – ♥♥♥♡♡
It had already been a week since Dion and I had wandered through this mansion searching for a way out.
Spending time in close quarters for a week had steadily increased Dion’s affection. But if we couldn’t get out of here, that affection meant nothing.
Even if affection reached its max, if I didn’t obtain the Holy Kingdom’s documents from Lucius, it would still be a bad ending.
“Come to think of it, your welcome banquet is in two days…”
Right, that event too.
Dion looked at my face and murmured in a troubled voice.
“Haa…”
“Sigh…”
We both let out a deep sigh at the same time.
There was so much to take care of outside, yet we still hadn’t found a way out.
