I Faked a Pregnancy, but My Husband Returned - Chapter 64
While Karl was diligently writing his letter.
In the dark, cramped space, the warm breaths of the two mixed together. Judith was practically pinned beneath Ekian, and as she twisted slightly, she let out a small sigh.
“Um, Master.”
She whispered softly.
“I’m really sorry, but… Could you loosen this ribbon a little?”
“What?”
“It’s too tight, and it hurts… But when I’m drunk, I can’t move properly.”
That was something he already knew. Even last time when she drank with Hud, she had trouble keeping her balance.
“Here, on my shoulder… This dress is a bit difficult to put on by myself.”
“Why were you wearing something like this at home?”
“I couldn’t very well wear loungewear when inviting a man into my room, could I?”
“Ha.”
Ekian silently recited every prayer he knew. Then, with difficulty, he raised his trembling hands to untie the ribbon on Judith’s shoulder.
“Just loosen it a little, don’t undo it completely—”
But his hands were oddly shaky, and the ribbon slipped free all at once. Her pale, rounded shoulder was exposed. Ekian let out a small groan.
“Damn it…”
Karl showed no signs of leaving, they were pressed too closely together, and Judith’s skin was too soft, too warm. Being this near, he could even catch her pleasant scent, making his head spin.
His vision kept flickering with images—Judith’s unfocused eyes, her breathless sighs, the flush creeping up her neck.
His mind reeled as his heart pounded in his ears. Feeling her warmth against him, he was overwhelmed with a sensation that felt eerily like thirst.
Why had his desire, which had disappeared, suddenly returned with such intensity? Even in the midst of this turmoil, Ekian tried to deduce the cause.
Until just earlier, when he had met Judith, he had been completely fine. So, what had changed?
The answer was simple. Ekian let out a strained whisper.
“Ah…”
The thing Judith had given him. The thing he had thoughtlessly drunk.
“…That medicine earlier…”
Hearing that, Judith’s eyes widened in surprise.
“M-Medicine?”
She blinked in confusion before blurting out, “Don’t tell me Anais drugged you?”
Her green eyes filled with worry as she looked at Ekian.
“I—I don’t know much about these things, but… Was it some kind of aphrodisiac? Is that why you’re like this?”
“Like this…?”
“Y-you look extremely, um, tormented…”
“There’s no need to explain.” Ekian gritted his teeth and whispered, “Please, at least preserve my dignity.”
“So, it is true…”
Judith seemed to have drawn her own conclusion.
“Anais is a truly vile woman who will stop at nothing. She even ordered that we be caught in a compromising situation, no matter what. She wanted to force something to happen between us.”
She was implying that Anais had drugged Master to make him force himself on Judith.
Ekian had no time to correct her misunderstanding. The unbearable discomfort was intensifying.
Meanwhile, his little brother showed no intention of leaving, completely absorbed in writing.
“Judith.” Ekian finally closed his eyes and whispered softly, “Please… don’t move.”
“Um, well…”
“If you keep moving, it’ll only make this harder for me.”
“Oh my… You weren’t like this before. It’s because of the drug, right? I can feel—”
“There is no need to describe the situation.”
It wasn’t because of the drug. It was just a natural reaction.
But there was no way Ekian could admit that.
All he could do was pray that this agonizing moment would pass.
However, Judith’s expression grew increasingly worried as his breathing grew heavier.
“Um, Master…”
She gazed at him with slightly unfocused eyes, lips carrying a faint scent of wine, and hesitantly whispered, “Would you like me to help you?”
***
Judith couldn’t say that she fully understood matters between men and women, but at least in theory, she had completed her studies. She had recently read a large number of books on relationships. She had even devoured various romance novels in preparation for real-life experiences.
So she understood what was happening to Master right now. However, because she remembered his usual composed demeanor, she was convinced this was due to the drug. In the novels, villains often use such drugs.
‘Normally, they use these on women, but since they couldn’t give it to me in the Mayus Ducal House, they must have given it to Master instead! Are they trying to force a scandal with me at all costs?!’
Judith was appalled by Anais’s ruthlessness.
‘No, what kind of drug could possibly do this to someone?!’
At the same time, a strong sense of responsibility washed over her. Truthfully, she was quite intoxicated and had grown bold, but she believed she was perfectly sober. Aside from her slightly blurry vision, her racing heart, and the strange surge of courage she felt, there was no real difference from usual.
Master had taken a drug he shouldn’t have because of her, and now he was in this ridiculous situation because of her. Both the drug and the alcohol—everything had started with her. So there was only one thing Judith could say.
“If it’s too painful for you…”
She whispered while tightly holding Master’s arm.
“Of course, this is my responsibility…”
Truthfully, she couldn’t say she had no ulterior motives. But even putting those aside, Judith sincerely felt that this was fine.
If it was Master—she truly believed it would be okay.
She, too, was tense from being so close to him. She could feel his breath tickling her exposed shoulder. Yet, she didn’t want to pull away. Before she knew it, she was unconsciously gripping his leg more tightly.
“…No.” Master clenched his teeth and spoke, “There is no need… to force yourself.”
But despite his polite words, the desire radiating from his body was unmistakable.
Judith stared at his mask and asked, “Is it because of the mask?”
Master had never once removed his mask, no matter the situation. Judith had tried imagining what lay beneath, but now, she realized she no longer needed to imagine.
She let out a deep breath and grabbed the ribbon that Master had untied earlier.
Then, she used it to blindfold herself, tying it securely behind her head. Her vision, already dim, turned completely dark.
“I won’t look.”
“No, Judith…”
“Really, I can’t see a thing. Is this alright now?”
“That’s not the problem…”
Master whispered in a flustered tone before abruptly falling silent. Judith, fumbling, reached up and removed his mask. Since she couldn’t see, her hands kept slipping, brushing against his hair, the nape of his neck, and his collarbone.
She could hear his ragged breathing.
“I don’t really… know much about this either.”
Judith’s fingers grasped his nape hesitantly.
“But… I read that it starts like this.”
Then, without hesitation, she pressed her lips somewhere—anywhere. Because she was struggling to maintain balance in her intoxicated state and was blindfolded, her lips wandered uncertainly across his skin.
“Is this not the right spot?”
“Where exactly did you…” Master whispered hoarsely, “Where did you learn this?”
“From books.”
Master sighed deeply and murmured, “Ah… those books…”
Judith groped at his cheek and the nape of his neck again. She once more pressed her lips against his skin—perhaps the bridge of his nose this time. As she tilted her head, sensing she had missed the mark again, her lips parting slightly—
“Ha…”
With a deep sigh, Master cupped her cheek and suddenly claimed her lips in a firm kiss. The overwhelming sensation coursed through her from head to toe. As their body heat mingled, his large hands wove into her hair.
Outside, Karl finished writing his letter and walked away.
But neither of them could stop.
