Melia wasn’t experiencing the relic’s effect right now. Her mind wasn’t hazy, and her body wasn’t hot.

Finding that strange, Melia hesitated before speaking, “Um… Hailon. I’m fine right now, but….”

It was a question filled with confusion. Why are you the only one like this?

Hailon immediately understood the meaning and answered in a firm voice, “Seems it differs by person.”

Melia couldn’t argue any further.

His conspicuously swollen lower body only made his words seem more convincing.

“It said it couldn’t be specified. We saw it together.”

There was very little information about the red relic to begin with, and it wasn’t widely known.

What he said matched what they had confirmed together.

So maybe the impulses didn’t always come at the same time. But if that was the case, it made things even harder….

Faced with this unexpected complication, Melia lightly bit her lower lip.

“You know today is the exam, right?”

She’d called Hailon to her house in the first place because of the exam. Melia nodded once.

“Yeah, that’s why we’re doing practice questions right now… ah.”

She understood what he meant.

No way.

“How am I supposed to take the exam in this condition?”

Gulp.

Melia’s throat bobbed.

Knowing how the relic affected the body, Melia couldn’t just leave Hailon like this.

She’d experienced it herself. That heat. That arousal.

If it wasn’t relieved, it would become harder to think normally as time passed.

“You promised to raise my grades.”

She knew better than anyone that in this state, taking the exam properly was basically impossible.

Of all times, why did this have to happen to Hailon on the morning of the exam?

“You’re not planning to pretend you don’t know, are you?”

Hailon slid the answer sheet resting on the desk toward Melia.

Melia glanced at it and scanned the half-finished answers to the past exam questions.

“Look at this, they’re all wrong.”

The one who commented on the answers as if scoring them wasn’t Melia, but Hailon.

Unlike yesterday, the sheet was full of incorrect answers. Just as he said.

A strange premonition crossed Melia’s mind.

To know that they were wrong, didn’t he also need to know the correct answers?

Whenever she talked with him, Melia sometimes felt as if her own common sense was off.

He was always so full of certainty, as if his words were always right.

Even if today’s answers were full of mistakes, when he’d been writing them, hadn’t he done so without the slightest hesitation?

…Was he really wrong because he didn’t know? She felt confused. She didn’t know why teaching him always made her feel this way.

But there was no time to think that far right now.

Because Hailon’s hand was wrapped around her waist.

“Th-that is… it’s true we need to raise your grades, but….”

As Melia avoided meeting his eyes, looking troubled, his earlier suggestion surfaced in her mind.

The additional bonus he’d mentioned if his rank improved.

A full one million erins for every thirty ranks.

A huge sum that could dramatically clear her debt. Hadn’t the goal been to raise his rank by thirty in the first place?

But if his mind was clouded by the relic, there was no way he could earn a proper score….

Gulp.

Melia swallowed and slowly lowered her gaze. Beneath her palm, the front of his pants was making its presence unmistakably known.

The twitching, solid heat was obvious even through the fabric.

There was only one reason she hesitated.

Because it was the first time.

Accepting him like this, without her body being heated up.

Could she really do it?

Of course, she didn’t dislike doing this kind of thing with Hailon. If she had, she would’ve rejected his proposal from the start.

‘Still, his grades have to go up….’

She couldn’t just leave things like this.

Her heart was gradually tipping.

Feeling the weight of the scale growing heavier on one side, Melia deliberately ignored the true answer behind her hesitation.

Even though she knew that worry over his grades alone couldn’t make the scale tilt toward a decision this quickly.

…In truth, using Hailon’s grades as the reason might have just been an excuse.

If today hadn’t been the exam? Even without the convenient excuse of grades, would she really have been able to reject him?

Faced with the question she posed to herself, Melia couldn’t be certain.

Because she already knew the pleasure this massive presence could give her. Her body had already been drenched in the joy of being held in his arms.

“Come here, Melia.”

At his firm words, Melia lifted her gaze and met his eyes.

Unlike earlier, her pupils didn’t waver. She didn’t avoid Hailon’s gaze.

Reading the unspoken permission, Hailon spread his arms slightly, looking satisfied.

Melia slowly moved her body closer to him.

Grab-

“Ah!”

In an instant, her body was lifted. As his solid arms hoisted her up, Melia found herself sitting on his lap, facing him.

“Hailon!”

Her startled voice echoed through the small house.

Even though no one else was there, Melia flinched at the sound of her own voice and shrank back.

Finding her reaction cute, a curved smile appeared at the corner of Hailon’s mouth.

But his smile quickly vanished.

“Mmph-”

Because their lips pressed together wetly. Slowly rubbing tongues and sharing sweet breaths, he soon began to invade Melia’s mouth.

When his tongue pushed against the hollow of her palate, Melia felt a strange sensation sweep through her entire body.

How did he even know to do things like this?

It felt like he understood the structure of her body better than she did.

Smack-

The crushing pressure of his strong arms pulling her close was welcome.

They were only kissing, yet the space between her legs was already slowly growing wet.

Still, Melia found it hard to focus solely on the kiss.

‘It’s… uncomfortable.’

Because his member beneath her was prodding insistently at her buttocks. Its presence was impossible to ignore.

In the end, wanting to find a more comfortable position, she began shifting her hips little by little.

“Ha, are you going to keep doing that?”

A lust-filled voice murmured in her ear, sounding like the growl of a hungry beast.

How shameless.

Kissing him while rubbing her ass over his cock like that.

It was practically begging him to fuck her.

“Don’t rush, Melia. I’ll be fucking you plenty anyway.”

Hailon decided to gladly accept Melia’s bold provocation.

“Th-that kind of talk….”

But Melia’s small protest vanished instantly.

Because his hand swept up and lifted her top.

Her full breasts were immediately exposed to his gaze. Lowering his head, Hailon bit down hard on her underwear with his teeth and yanked it down.

Her bouncing mound of flesh was laid completely bare.

“Hngh….”

At the sensation of her bare skin being exposed to the air, a faint moan slipped from Melia’s lips.

Soon, that moan deepened.

“Ah, ah!”

Because he stuck out his tongue and licked up along the pink areola.

The tiny ridges of his tongue kept stimulating the tip of her nipple, making Melia’s upper body twist again and again.

A dizzying sensation wrapped around her body all at once. Melia grabbed onto his shoulder tightly.

Even as her breasts were being sucked, it was as if a flood had begun below, soaking her through.

And yet, why was it?

The relic’s effect wasn’t manifesting right now. That meant she wasn’t feeling the usual impulsive desire.

And yet.

Her body, Melia herself, was craving pleasure.

Up until now, she’d told herself it wasn’t her own desire, leaning on the excuse that it was the relic’s effect, that she was forced into this kind of relationship with him.

She felt a premonition that, starting today, cracks would begin to form in that reasoning.

But even so….

“The bed, it’s over there, right?”

Hailon’s voice, heavy with impatience, was low. It was his question as he lifted Melia in his arms and straightened up.

Melia nodded. Crack- the sound of something breaking echoed in her ears like an illusion.

She couldn’t bring herself to voice an answer.

As if even that short distance was too much to waste, Hailon sucked greedily at Melia’s lips. She could barely breathe, let alone speak.
